Decoration inspiration for little ones’ rooms

Decorating a nursery or bedroom for your little ones is exciting, but there are so many products available on the high street and online that it can be difficult to know where to begin. We’ve scoured our database of properties on the market with us to bring you our favourite design ideas…

Unusual beds

This wooden framed bed is a fun feature and we love the matching bird houses and wall stickers above it. Perhaps it’s time to think outside the box and switch a standard single bed for something quirkier – maybe it will also make bedtimes that little bit easier!

Keep it simple

Don’t feel pressured to overfill a space to make every corner Instagram perfect.

We love the simplicity of this nursery. The multicoloured rug brings all the elements together, whilst the baby animal prints make for a playful feature.

Tactile elements

From the pom pom curtain ties and the mobile light shade, to the bunting hanging from the shelf – it’s the little touches that really tie together this nursery.

There are plenty of tactile elements you could add to a nursery or bedroom, from chunky knits and velvet fabrics, to warming rugs and squishy chairs. Have you thought about adding a fairy door to the skirting boards to really capture your little ones’ imaginations?

Mono colour schemes

It’s easy to fall into the trap of trying to incorporate too many colours into one room. The warm grey colour palette in this bedroom works well, making any accents of colour really pop.

Stickers and transfers are also a great way to personalise your child’s room.
